Synopsis

"Homecoming" Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance return to the Sherwood Florist after a night of excitement at the Space Needle, where they helped to thwart a terrorist attack. Oliver explains that while he was away for a year, he came to the realization that he was simply running away from himself, and that the hero - Green Arrow - is who he really is. Dinah agrees, and they finally make love. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Cameron receives a ballistics report from the previous night, showing that a gun was on the scene that is of significant interest to him. When he asks who had the gun, he is informed that it was held by Oliver. Outside the Sherwood Florist, Officer Kaz (who has been in love with Dinah for a year) is parked outside, drinking in his car. Eventually, he drives away. Later, Lt. Cameron arrives at Dinah's door while Oliver is in the shower. When Oliver comes out, they question him about the gun, revealing that their interest in the gun stems from the fact that the same gun was used in the shooting of Vinnie Tanetti and his nephew the night before. Oliver professes that he took the gun from a terrorist at the Space Needle, and was in a Nairobi airport at the time of the shootings. Cameron warns that he will be watching, and that Oliver is the prime suspect. When Cameron leaves, Oliver vows to clear his name, because he refuses to be framed again.
